Doug lives in Sandwich, NH and Duxbury, MA. He is a graduate of Boston University and is the co-founder of Penobscot Investment Management Company in Boston. Doug has a history of serving non-profit organizations. He is an Honorary Trustee of Emma Willard School, Troy, NY, an Honorary Trustee of Plimoth Patuxet (formerly Plimoth Plantation) and Chairman Emeritus of The Wildland’s Trust in Plymouth, MA. Doug is the President of the Board of Directors of the Hardrock 100 Endurance Run in Silverton, Colorado. Locally, Doug is a member of the Board of Sandwich Home Industries, as well as the Squam Lakes Conservation Society.

Frances retired in 2015 as a public-school counselor/ social worker. She then joined the faculty of Plymouth State University in the Social Work Program until 2022. She has been on the board of the Sandwich Children’s Center, Sandwich Senior Resources, Lakes Region Community Developers and New Futures. She currently serves on the Board of the Endowment for Health. Frances lives in Sandwich with her husband. She loves to hike and garden and is passionate about social equity and justice and the environment.

Brad is an experienced business professional and active volunteer who lives in Sandwich, NH. Brad has worked extensively in the healthcare and business research fields and has also been a part of several start-ups including a green energy finance company he is helping launch at present. Brad is a volunteer cook at The Bearcamp Center, a youth ski coach in the Eastern Slope Ski Club, and has served on boards and supported non-profits for over 30 years. He and his wife Katy are avid hikers and gardeners.

Heather has lived in Center Sandwich full time since 2021 after retiring from her corporate life as President of Molecular Toxicology, Inc. “Moltox”, Boone, NC. In addition to a business career in biotech manufacturing, Heather also holds a NH and NC license as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor, is a National Certified Counselor, holds a post-grad certificate as an Expressive Arts Therapist, and is a Yoga Teacher. She offers counseling for adolescents, adults and elders in her local private practice. Heather is a graduate of Appalachian State University, Boone, NC where she received a Master’s degree in Community Counseling and completed her undergraduate degree at The University of Notre Dame of Maryland, Baltimore, MD. She has served on various boards over the years including Oasis, Inc., Boone, NC, a domestic violence and sexual assault supporter of women and their children, and the vestry of St. Mary of the Hills Episcopal Church, Blowing Rock, NC. Heather and husband Ray love to spend time outdoors with their Golden Retriever Happe. They have two grown daughters and a grandson who they enjoy visiting as often as possible.

Amy and her family have lived all over the country–CT, MA, VA, IL, TX and MD–before she and her husband John settled in Moultonborough in 2016. After graduating from UConn, she started her career as a Commercial Property Underwriter then, after a time staying home with her two children, she got her teaching credential and taught middle school math in MD. She fell in love with yoga here in NH and is now a certified yoga teacher. She is an active volunteer, especially through the Moultonborough Women’s Club, where she was a past president and
currently chairs the Communications committee.

Todd, a resident of Center Sandwich, has served on the Sandwich Children’s Center board; the New Hampton School board; the Sandwich Town Budget Advisory Committee; and as a Sandwich Town Selectman from 2020 to 2023. Before that, Todd was a teacher, coach, and head of independent schools in Colorado, Arizona, and Idaho. Todd has served on a variety of nonprofit boards (education, environment, community service) and is an active community volunteer. Additionally, Todd has trained nonprofit boards in governance, finance, and fundraising; advised social service startups; and been an executive coach to school leaders across the country. Todd studied biology and has an MBA, MEd, and EdD. He likes to hike the White Mountains, camp with his wife Jane, and fish.

Julie Howe has more than 30 years of marketing, communications, and branding experience, most recently in insurance and insurance technology and including the hospitality, finance, architecture, and non-profit industries. Julie served for 11 years on the board of Rockywold-Deephaven Camps in Holderness, including as head of the strategic planning committee, and remains on several committees. She and her husband Sam live in Holderness and spend significant time in South Portland, Maine, providing their two grown children with ample, beautiful playgrounds to visit regularly.

Lianne was raised in Sandwich and has lived in Tamworth since 1998. She taught for 30 years in public and private middle and high schools, serving as classroom teacher, department head, and school director. In her spare time, when not shepherding or announcing the skillet and keg tosses at the Sandwich Fair, she can be found serving on the Tamworth Select Board, as a Board rep to the Planning Board, and on the executive board of the Lakes Region Planning Commission. For the majority of her adult life, Lianne has been actively involved in community service: coaching youth sports, dabbling in community theater, and participating on myriad nonprofit boards, including facilitating start ups. She is committed to social justice and actively works against the practice of domination by bureaucracy. She studied political science and English and holds an MEd. She has three adult children happily living their lives in the world.
