Giving Thanks Feast offered for take out, 11/27

Whether you’re living alone or with a partner and don’t want to cook a whole turkey, don’t have the means to cook for yourself, need to stretch your household budget, or simply don’t love the idea of cooking a traditional feast for your family and friends, The Bearcamp Center has got you covered this Thanksgiving season.

Each year, we serve a full Giving Thanks Feast on the day before Thanksgiving. Dinners are packed to go so that you can enjoy a feast around your own table, in your own kitchen, or even in your jammies in front of your favorite tv show! This meal is served by donation, so we ask that you pay what or if you’re able or what you think it’s worth to have us feeding many in need.

This meal includes farm-raised turkey sourced from a small farm in Vermont, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, roasted squash, greens with horseradish butter, a homemade roll, and a slice of Hillary’s pie. Vegetarian? Just let us know! We will substitute the turkey and gravy for acorn squash stuffed with a pilaf of farro, wild rice, dried fruit, nuts, herbs, garlic, onion, and shallot.

Please spread the word about this meal to anyone you know who might benefit.

Reserve your dinner now by emailing Lianne: director@bearcampcenter.org. We will see you on Wednesday, November 27, between 5-6pm when you pick up your dinner. Donations can be made at that time.
