Congregate Meals

Coming together for food, companionship, and even a little frolic!

Because having companionship, feeding our souls, is literally as important as feeding our bodies, we look forward to welcoming folks to The Bearcamp Center for by-donation themed dinners, often with entertainment of some sort, and lively conversation with friends –old and new. We hope to offer these meals once a month throughout the winter and early spring. This program will grow to include offerings of hair cuts by donation, once a month; showers for those who need the service; homework mentors for families with kiddos who would welcome a little academic support; college application counseling for anyone interested in education beyond high school.

Folks who cannot attend these themed dinners in person may order and pick up take out, including all the courses of the congregate offering!

We ask that folks RSVP to order their meals, whether for dining in or take out.

We would like to open our doors an hour before the meal begins to those who might like a warm and welcoming place to gather for a regular game of cards, a book group, a sewing circle, or other social group open to all. Please reach out if you’re interested in helping to organize such a gathering!
