Hello Friends and Neighbors,

By now, many of you have seen our posts on social media or the for-sale sign in our front yard at 1164 Bunker Hill Road.  We want to share with you the bittersweet news that we will be relocating in the fall, and to affirm that The Bearcamp Center is not closing its doors, simply moving on down the road a bit to another location closer to the Village  in Tamworth.

With our new programming, we have much more modest–and financially sustainable–needs for overhead. We want to be able to seat 100 guests at our dinners, welcome 85 campers a week, provide space for adult education or meetings, and serve our meals from an accessible location, while maintaining the property in perpetuity.

Our new home will have such a dining room, plus other spots to gather and a fantastic property for our camps with plenty of wild spaces to hunt for fairies or fish or build forts or cook over campfires. We will officially announce our new site at the end of the summer! Stay tuned!
